There are three common abnormal package states in the process of international logistics and transportation: package delay, package loss and package damage.
In response to the package delay, the major logistics providers have not announced the corresponding compensation standards, that is, they do not provide corresponding compensation for package delays.

1. Description of the compensation rules of logistics providers for lost packages
The logistics provider's compensation standard refers to the compensation standard for lost or damaged (including partial loss) of the package as agreed upon in the contract or announced on its official website when it provides logistics services.

Usually, you need to provide the following information to apply to the logistics provider to inquire about the package and handle the claim:
1. Provide a certificate from the foreign logistics provider confirming that the package is lost/undelivered/unable to be found. The parcel certificate issued by the recipient and the local delivery provider is also acceptable.
2. The recipient confirms that he has not received the package, which must include the package number, waybill number, recipient's name and address, etc.
3. Screenshots of online commodity transactions or purchase vouchers: such as screenshots of transaction order information, commodity name, number of pieces, and amount. DHL also needs to provide commercial invoices and claim letters.
4. Written inquiry forms, claim forms, face sheets, payment vouchers, etc. required by other logistics providers.
The package processing time starts from the date the package is dispatched.

Disclaimer
1. Caused by force majeure (except for insured mail);
2. If the delivered items violate the prohibition or restriction regulations, they           shall be confiscated by the competent authority or dealt with in accordance         with relevant laws and regulations;
3. When the package is delivered, the package is intact and there is no trace of      disassembly, and the weight is not reduced and the internal parts are short or      damaged;
4. The mail has been signed for;
5. Mail loss or delay due to the responsibility of the customer or the item itself;
6. The package has not been inquired or made a claim for compensation within      7 days of receipt or within 45 days of delivery;
7. International parcels are detained, confiscated or destroyed by the              destination country in accordance with its domestic laws and regulations.


Prohibited items
1. Items that are prohibited from circulation or delivery by national laws and              regulations;
2. Dangerous goods such as explosive, flammable, corrosive, radioactive and          toxic;
3. Reactionary newspapers, books or obscene articles;
4. Various currencies;
5. Items that impair public health;
6. Perishable items;
7. Live animals (except bees, silkworms and leeches whose packaging can              ensure the safety of delivery and staff);
8. Items that are improperly packaged and may endanger personal safety,              pollute or damage other mail equipment;
9. Other items that are not suitable for postage conditions.

Postal practice prohibits delivery
1. The nature of the article or its packaging is suspected of injuring postal                service personnel or defacing mail or postal equipment;
2. Items with sharp edges such as metal buttons for sealing, which may hinder        mail handling;
3. All kinds of firearms, ammunition, explosives, inflammables, corrosives,                radioactive elements and containers, potent poisons, narcotics, biochemical        products and infectious substances;
4. All kinds of publications, publicity materials, printed materials, etc. that                 endanger social security and stability and obscene;
5. All kinds of articles that impair public health;
6. Documents or items that are prohibited from entering or circulating by the            other party;
7. In addition to the above general regulations, the relevant regulations of the          customs department should also be followed.
